Originally from Bulgaria, but 12 years ago I decided to move to Manchester to study Tourism and Event Management.​ During my time in uni I was much more interested in the  creative classes, where we had to design websites, make posters and do presentations.​ In my first year I received a certificate - 'First Place in designing a travel website using Dreamweaver'. It was then when i first realised that I would love to someday work on projects like that full time.​

After graduation I was not sure if tourism was the field I wanted to stay in. I gained a lot of experience in customer service, travelled extensively but it wasn't until 2020, when I finally decided to follow my dreams and do something I was passionate about.

 
So, naturally I enrolled in a UX Design course. Just after a few weeks into the course, I realised that without a doubt it was the best career decision I made in my life. I believe that the knowledge I gained combined with my creative skills and critical thinking makes UX the right path for me and I absolutely love that I can make a positive impact on a process or somebody's life.

I successfully completed the course in  2021 and received a Professional Diploma in UX. Since then I've been constantly trying to up-skill myself by learning new design softwares like Figma and Sketch, do a lot of research to better understand people's needs and overall gain more experience in UX.
